The Winding Stair Bookshop

In the context of the Dublin literary scene, I hold the Winding Stair Bookshop in the same regard as Sylvia Beach's Shakespeare & Co. It is a hub for artists and writers to meet and mingle, peruse and perform, but it is also significant because unlike the vast majority of Dublin's bookshops, it is happy to work with independent publishers and writers who do not operate through a wholesaler.
I have little to say in this article except to thank them for taking on Luain Press' books, as well as the works of other independent artists and publishers, such as the books of the late Pat Ingoldsby. So, if you're hanging about town and you've time to kill before your train or bus, have a look and buy a book!
