Good News!

Dear Donors...

...after just receiving a massive donation, we have reached our goal! I would like to thank every single person who has donated - whether by pre-ordering CDs or by donating to our GoFundMe - for their help in making this dream become a reality.

We have been raising funds since last October. It has been a slow and steady process, but we've been working away in the background, and I would like to thank everyone for their patience.

What stage is the project at now? As many of you may know, we have released two singles from the album - Pat's reading of 'Words to the Virus Which Found Me in 1942' and Daragh Fleming's reading of 'Da Down the Garden'. The good news is the rest of the project is near completion; we only have two more artists to record and a few tweaks to make.

Now that we've reached our goal, when will the album be released? We don't have an exact date right now, but we aim to digitally release the album in the next few months, certainly before Halloween. Those who have pre-ordered CDs can also expect to receive them in two to three months.

The goal of this project was to celebrate Pat's life and work; his poems, which are being read by some of Ireland's most talented spoken word artists, are being given a new lease of life, and by supporting this project, you've helped us to preserve his legacy, bring his work to a wider audience, and tell his story through carefully selected poems.

Finally, I'd like to thank Vivienne Baillie for allowing us to work on this project. It has been a wonderful challenge for us here at Luain Press.

Thank you all for you help.

Warm regards,

Lee Sheridan
