If you're thinking of submitting to us, here are some things to keep in mind:

We are looking for completed manuscripts of poetry and/or prose and/or non-fiction. If we like it, we'll keep reading.

We are not too concerned with formatting at this stage. If we can read it, we're happy.

When submitting, your subject line should read: Submission - name, title.

Terms & Conditions

1. Authors will receive 50% of royalties for every book that is sold by Luain Press, whether those books are digital or physical copies.

2. Authors will receive 20 free copies.

3. Authors are entitled to purchase copies at an extremely reduced rate (€3 per copy), which they are free to sell at their own discretion. Postage costs are not included.

4. In the unlikely event that printing costs increase, this rate will be adjusted accordingly.

5. We will not accept work that has previously been published - the odd poem or short story that has won prizes or appeared on social media are exceptions, of course.

6. Luain Press will have the final say on the book’s title and cover; suggestions for both are encouraged.

7. The book’s size will be 8 x 5 or 6 x 9; font will be Garamond, either size 9 or 10. The writer will be notified of any changes to the book’s formatting.

8. We will accommodate the form of every manuscript as best as possible.

9. Authors retain the rights to their works.

10. By sending us your work, you are permitting Luain Press to publish and promote it across all our channels.

11. While creative leeway will be given, Luain Press reserves the right to edit work that contains typos, misprints or errors; poets will be notified of all edits in advance.

12. Luain Press reserves the right to reject any manuscripts that we feel are defamatory, offensive or of inadequate quality.
